Katie Ott

Katie found CrossFit in early 2013 while being a student-athlete at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Being a member of a top 20 division 1 lacrosse team, she worked hard to be her best but constantly felt like she kept falling short of her goals and potential. Once she discovered CrossFit, she immediately saw an improvement in her overall fitness, strength and ability which in turn lead to her being an instrumental player on the field, and later the leader of the team as the sole-captain of the 2014/2015 NCAA team. She lead the team to their 7th straight Conference Championship, 2nd round of the 2015 NCAA tournament and earned her spot on the Atlantic 10 2nd team All-Conference.

When she’s not working her full time job, Katie enjoys coaching people of all ages with all sorts of backgrounds at Reebok CrossFit Medfield. Her favorite part is empowering women that strong is beautiful. Also, the fact that she can sometimes workout with her 61 year-young father , is unique and something that will forever keep her hooked!
